CEO
Jenny Karavolos has built her 20 years of leadership experience in senior roles within disability, defence, transport, and energy. Jenny is highly experienced in systemic advocacy, trusted stakeholder relationships, impactful collaboration, strategic planning, governance, organisation transformation, and delivering significant multidisciplinary state of the art projects.
Jenny has been in the disability sector now for over 7 years. Jenny currently holds a portfolio of roles which includes Chair-Elect of the Augmented Ability CRC focused on enhancing human capacity, Co-Chair Australian Autism Alliance, and Co-Chair of NDIA’s Integrity Reform group.
Jenny is known as a collaborative partner and connector. Jenny worked closely with government for a pre-election commitment to the National Autism Strategy and National Autism Health and Mental Health Roadmap. Prior to this Jenny held the role of Autism SA’s CEO undertaking significant transformational change.
Jenny came from the Defence Industry holding a range of roles including as Saab Australia’s, Commercial Adviser, and lead negotiator, nationally and internationally and a Senior Project Manager leading the delivery of a number of state-of-the-art technology projects.
She has also held Chair and Non-Executive Director positions in defence and disability for over 15 years. Jenny holds qualifications as a CPA, Graduate of the AICD and is an MBA Brooke Scholar. She considers her most important role as a parent of a gorgeous Autistic teenager.
